RADIOFREQUENCY ABLATION

Certain types of arrhythmias may be treated and cured non-surgically. After receiving the initial EPS (electrophysiological study), a special catheter may be used to selectively "burn" by radiofrequency the abnormal tissue causing the arrhythmia.
