Peripheral Angiography

This test involves the injection of dye in the leg arteries, similar to a catheterization and often done simultaneously. Blockages are identified and the best treatment options are determined.  Your cardiac specialist may order this test if you are experiencing pain in your legs during exertion or if peripheral vascular disease is suspected.  Please refer to cardiac catheterization for more information
