Peripheral Angiography
This
test involves the injection of dye in the leg arteries, similar to a
catheterization and often done simultaneously. Blockages are identified
and the best treatment options are determined.
Your cardiac specialist may order this test if you are
experiencing pain in your legs during exertion or if peripheral vascular
disease is suspected. Please
refer to cardiac catheterization for more information
